UtBS free on Kobo | Villi Ásgeirsson

Amazon and Kindle are great. They opened up the whole eBook and self-publish business model and that we must thank for.  The problem with the Kindle is that it’s a closed standard. It won’t accept the open ePub standard and their format doesn’t work on other eReaders.

BookCover5x8_Cream_420_frontWhen I bought my first eReader last year, I chose the Kobo Aura. It was around the same price as a Kindle, but equally well built and used the open ePub standard. I was enthusiastic about publishing my novel to their store and see what would happen.

Kobo isn’t the market leader and the book hasn’t moved there. But I absolutely love my Kobo. I want this to work. So, now I am offering the eBook in the Kobo store for absolutely nothing until Tuesday. It is free. You can download it, read it, keep it. It’s yours. For absolutely nothing.

A review will be appreciated, but there really are no strings attached. Once you download it, it’s yours.

Go ahead. It’s received four and five stars where reviewed. People seem to like the story.
