I'm not against showing affections to kids. I still hug my girls and tell them I love them. However at Walmart in a really long line yesterday, it was gag worthy. A man, the dad, was there with his 3 girls, around the same ages as my girls it seemed so in the 10-13yo age range. The youngest was riding him piggyback style while the other 2 had linked elbows with daddy dearest. That was to me, a bit overkill, but the 2 older girls were rubbing their faces up and down his arms and kissing his biceps and just gazing at him adoringly while batting their lashes. It was all, ohhh daaadddyyyy, we wubz ooo so muchies, your best daaddyyy evverrr, daaadddyyyy can we puhweeze have (long list of shit they want) The dad was totally eating it up too! I was trying not to lose my dinner! My girls were with me and whispering yuck, what's wrong with them, to me. (I told my girls to hush) I know to each their own, and maybe that works for that dad and his kids, but damn...smh!
