Do you feel special? I do.
That’s 60 days of creating, pushing, inventing and most importantly…writing. Another step in the right direction—towards the 100 Sales a Day and supporting my family doing what I love. What’s even more fun, was I met with my marketing guys all day yesterday and we went over so many aspects of this project. Installed new plugins to provide you with more goodies, looked at the progress…and then he smiled.
“You know, none of my clients have ever done this before. No one has made it this far.”
It was music to my ears.
“I know,” I smirked, “That was one of the driving forces behind my determination. I wanted to be the first and prove it could be done.”
You’re an important part of this journey, do you realize that?
Seriously, you are.
So what have we accomplished over the past 60 days?
(Drum roll please…)
The first 30 Days:
The focus was on the sales and goals of 100 Sales a Day. We set the sights and then went to work. Building a strong foundation, we delved into our own minds and imperfections as writers. Maybe even as people. Yet we know what we want to accomplish, so we talked openly about the road bumps we knew were coming and tried our best to prepare for them.
We talked about doubts, sales, support, perspectives and even developing skills.
The second 30 Days:
This is where I got into depth with my passions—especially youth and writing. That’s the focus of this site, to be a hero to youth and since I love writing stories for them it was an easy matter to share my own experiences with you and yours. We covered how to create fantasy books for kindle, tools I prefer to use and even finding your purpose…with a dash of Carrie Cross.
What’s Next?
(insert hysterical laughter here)
I have been dying to start writing books again, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. The challenge is, it’s far too much to write this blog, create the media AND write a new book, so at the suggestion of my marketing guy (Laurence—there, his name is out) I’m combining the efforts. Over the next 30 days (maybe longer, we’ll see), I’m going to let you look over my shoulder as I develop the next book. From start to end, you’ll be involved: brainstorming, sketches, outlining, writing, editing & artwork. I’m going to let you see it all.
In fact, my intent is to put out chapters of the book as I write it for you to see and give feedback on the blog. It’s a huge undertaking, but it sounds like fun to me.
So wish me luck and don’t hold back your comments as we go!!
This is about youth and getting these stories into their hands. Maybe you haven’t pondered the effect a good story can have on a life, but think about it. We have an opportunity to get to kids who are struggling to find themselves–who are searching for their identity and place in this world. Chronicles of a Hero is a series that appeals to youth and they glean the positive messages from it. So consider helping us by donating $1 or more. You get AWESOME perks in return, so there’s value in it for you too!
