A few months ago I got in a debate over who was the most disappointing/worst pick in Baltimore Ravens history. There were a few players to consider, the Ravens have been amazing at the draft and have not missed on many. These are all first and second round draft pick guys. Here is my biggest bust.

1. Sergio Kindle- The Ravens made Kindle their first pick in the 2010 draft. They moved out of the first round because they thought they had a first-round talent in Kindle. Kindle was physically a beast and only fell because of questionable character issues. The Ravens saw no problem in him because they have such a good history with turning questionable character guys around.

Kindle never got turned around and before training camp happened news broke that he broke his skull at a friends “function” and that was the end of his rookie season before he even got to training camp. I was actually covering training camp that year and at the hotel when the Ravens held the press conference.

Kindle was supposed to be fully recovered but never made a contribution to the Ravens. Kindle recorded one tackle for the Ravens and was release last year. For a guy who was the 46th overall pick in the draft and a guy who was considered a first-round talent he did nothing for the franchise. Kindle was a headache and did more to distract the team than he did to help. Two out of the four guys drafted after Kindle have been Pro-Bowlers in Daryl Washington and Zane Beadles.

Kindle was supposed to be an elite pass rusher and take control of the side opposite of Terrell Suggs, that never happened. Some say Kyle Boller, who I will get to later, the biggest bust but at least Boller made it on the field and won a few games.
