The stylish cel-shaded fighting game Skullgirls is at last breaking out for the PC. Its developer at Lab Zero Games has announced on Facebook that the game will be making its way to the platform on August 22.
In addition to the PC port, Lab Zero is introducing five new characters as DLC following its immensely successful Indiegogo campaign for the game which accumulated over $800k in pledges. The project at first asked for $150k to add a single new character to the game, but that number ebbed with the ensuing addition of new characters as stretch goals for the fundraiser.
Booking for the game will begin on August 1 on Steam.
