We’ve got a new craze going on in the office. Every Friday we pick a theme and play songs all day relating to it. In past weeks we’ve had themes like: time, the periodic table (difficult!), colours and sport. The Letterfest team’s music tastes are. shall we say rich and varied! We definitely learn something new about each other by analysing our song choices! Wendy won last week’s playlist choice award for choosing Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill in the sport theme. Tom usually puts everyone to shame by coming up with 20 tunes whilst most of us have difficulty picking 7 or 8! Bob chooses songs with the most tenuous links to the theme but that’s ok according to the rules of the Letterfest Playlist Friday DJ, Ant.
This week’s theme is hair?! It could be interesting… Only good one we can think of at the moment is Suicide Blonde by INXS so that’s cheerful for a Friday! It’s either that or lots of songs from the musical Hairspray.. We have 24 hours to sort this situation out!
So there you go – that’s what we get up to on a Friday – think of us this week! We might start a YouTube channel so you can listen to our song choices.. or maybe not!
