Kindle Publishing “Kindle Christmas in Summer” Review – Part 2

I’ve read pages 1-13 of “Kindle Christmas in Summer” by Chimica Robinson, and the thing that strikes me so far is the abundance of ideas Chimica presents. There are ideas for getting organized, ideas for approaching your writing, ideas for stories, and even ideas about getting ideas.

Along the way, Chimica mentioned a book about something called Writer’s bingo, which evidently is a method for writing really fast. I’m not sure it it’s something she has written herself (I found a post she made on a forum that featured its sales page) or if it’s by another author, but the idea intrigues me. It may need to be the topic of an upcoming review, once I get caught up with my recent purchases (remember the ebook buying spree I told you about?).

Another useful thing about this ebook is that Chimica’s tips don’t apply only to Christmas books, although she makes a pretty good argument that it’s a genre to consider, but they could apply to just about any fiction genre. I don’t think I’ll get around to writing a Christmas series this year because I want to complete another series I’ve already started (paranormal romance), but I can definitely see myself headed that way next year.

At 13 pages into the content, I’m ready to say I’m getting my money’s worth. I’ve already garnered some ideas and been inspired, and I’ve seen some techniques that intrigue me. Who could ask for anything more?
