Little secret (though it’s not really a secret at all)…
I used to be a real estate agent.
I actually still have my r.e. license, but I choose not to be active. (Though I do still keep my education up to date).
I worked in real estate before everything went crazy (prices going through the roof, buyers paying more than the appraised value, etc.) and then when the “bubble” busted. And then I would work the single transaction here or there the past couple years.
I have a sort of love / hate thing going on with real estate. I love helping buyers find the right home. I love helping sellers sell their home. But I hate all the greediness and unrealistic expectations in between.
One of the cool things I discovered while working my real estate biz was that it was a totally workable career for a mom (or a dad) with kids. And that the whole parent aspect could be used to that agent’s advantage (especially in marketing).
So that’s what led to the writing of The WAHM Agent series of books. The first book in the series is “Becoming a Work at Home Real Estate Agent.”
And the cool news…it’s FREE for two days!! You can download it on July 7th and 8th. But you may want to put it on your wishlist now so you don’t forget!!
