Hey, what’s going on, guys? My name is Joey Biagas, and I’m an audio engineer of a few years now and today I’m going to show you how to convert CDA tracks to a Kindle. Now what CDA tracks are are CD audio. So that’s what it stands for. So what we want to do is basically we want to be able to listen to these audio tracks on our Kindle. But we need to convert them so we need to convert them to an MP3 format so our Kindle can read them. OK so let’s go ahead and hop on to the computer and see how that works. What I’m going to do is use Adobe Media Encoder as my converter, OK. Now you can use any encoder, just in case if you have something else on your computer already. But let’s go ahead and locate my CDA file which is right here. Perfect. And I’m going to click and drag and dump this in to media encoder. From there we can click on the preset here so we can locate and adjust our export settings. So we want to change the format to MP3. Boom, perfect. And then from here we have a preset of what quality we want it so I like it to be 256 kilobytes per second, that is the highest quality that Adobe Media Encoder allows us. And of course we can change the output name and where we want it on our computer. But where it’s at on my computer is fine. So I’m going to hit cancel and then all we have to do is go down to OK. Hit OK but there’s one last step. All we have to do is hit enter on our computer and then Adobe Media Encoder will do its thing. So hit enter and like so. So that’s it, that’s pretty much all there is to it to converting a CD audio track to an MP3 so a Kindle can read it. If you have any other questions, please let us know and thank you for watching.
