When two people believe the other person should be doing something, typically neither of them do it. The Kindle, and particularly the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD, are prone to dead batteries when left unplugged. Your spouse will become unbelievably frustrated if, when settling in to read, they discover a powerless Kindle. Designate a Kindle charging space within your home where the Kindle is to be returned and plugged into a power source. This power source should be a place where you both agree to return the Kindle when finished or, failing that, whenever you see it lying around the house.
