The Kindle Fire: too good to be true? | PDair Blog

The Kindle Fire (not the HD version) can be bought for under £100 in some shops and this would make it the cheapest Android tablet from an established manufacturer available. There are many very cheap tablets available, but this one is from Amazon and the price is incredible for what you get.

An extended time with the Kindle Fire has proved it to be a capable device which runs perfectly smoothly in a variety of situations. Whether playing games, creating documents of surfing the web, everything moves along at a fair pace and it does everything you need. It causes some head scratching when the iPad Mini is more than £200 more expensive because the reality is that it is just as good for almost every task you would use it for.

Is the Kindle Fire the best value tablet in the world at the moment? Yes, by a mile.
