Can somebody let me know the kindle 3g review? What are the differences and similarities between Kindle, kindle Fire 3G, and the tablets on the market? I am planning to get a kindle fire for a friend who would be travelling for a few months. Some of the features required includes reading, watching movies, surfing the net and etc. is kindle 3g a good choice?

Kindle 3g would be better for reading books while Kindle fire would be preferable if you want a tablet which can do more than just reading. The other difference between them is that Kindle fire uses the LCD screen which is used in your monitors. While the Kindle 3g uses the eInk screen which is more like reading from a book.
