We’ve seen all sorts of comparisons between the hottest 7 inch tablets on the market, but has anyone tested their resilience against… blending?! The usual Blendtec blenders were used to turn the iPad Mini, Nexus 7 and Kindle fire HD into dust and it seems that the Nexus 7′s panel was quite resilient.
The broken iPad glass was also a figure that lasted in there for some time, while the Kindle Fire HD was quickly turned into shreds of metal. Amazon’s device made the most dust, if I’m not mistaking and all of them blended perfectly, obviously after being smashed and bent over to fit the blenders. It was painful to see 3 of the best tablets out there tortured like that, but Blendtec has got to sell its products, right?
I’m pretty fascinated by the fact that it’s so easy to bend a tablet, so I suspect some foul play here… Anyway, the Nexus 7 seemed to put up the best resistance and considering how much plastic it involves, that was to be expected. Which one will you buy?
