Kindle Fire HD VS Nexus 7 | Free Kindle Books

Between Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7, which one is worthy to purchase? Considering the price of them is the same, so we just have to compare them in other aspects. By the way, Kindle Fire HD belongs to Amazon and Nexus 7 is released by Google, in case you want to know the developer.

The Kindle Fire HD ($199) and Google Nexus 7 ($199) are all small tablets that are targeting the same market, each with its own app ecosystem (Kindle Appstore for Kindle Fire HD, Google Play for the Nexus).

Amazon has highlighted that the Fire HD can play High-def contents, it features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 216 PPI (same with Nexus 7), Android 4.0 operating system with a custom skin, a dual-core 1.2 gigahertz TI OMAP 4460 CPU, 1 gig of RAM, 16/32 gigs worth of internal storage, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo speakers, HDMI port and up to 11 hours of battery life.

Nexus 7 runs the latest Android OS, boasts NVidia Tegra 2 T30L processor. The quad-core processing chip features a 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 and 1GB of RAM. The Nexus 7 starts at 16GB of storage.

Well, hard to decide which one is better, right? Anyway, it would be much easier if you are an Apple fan, then iPad mini is your first and only choice.
