Wal-Mart Chain Dumps Amazon: Kindle Will No Longer Be Sold in ...

5523202 s 300x300 Wal Mart Chain Dumps Amazon: Kindle Will No Longer Be Sold in the ChainWal-Mart has made an official statement about cutting Amazon’s Kindle products off their chains stores. Such occurrence can be viewed as how Amazon puts up a really good competition with the others in the market.

Wal-Mart didn’t make any other statement reasoning why they did such an act aside from stating that’s a decisive merchandising strategy on their end. But it can be noted that the chain still sell devices that poses resemblance to Kindle such as Google, Apple, Samsung as well as Barnes & Noble, it is really evident that there’s more to it.

Previously, Kindle was merely for designed for e-book reading but since the advent of tablets, Amazon eventually enabled users immediate access to movies, games and of course books. And with its massive online shopping strategies, Amazon really made it big and a sure fire competitor for Wal-Mart in retailing.

Also, perhaps the reason is that Wal-Mart might gain only a marginable profit since the Kindle is low cost compared to its rival, Apple’s iPad. Amazon utilizes fully the fact that it profits more on their eBooks, they sell Kindle in as low as $200 dollars. This isn’t that appealing to Wal-Mart, though.

This event might transpire Amazon to put up a physical retail store. Share your thoughts about this; leave us a comment on the TabletPCReview forum.
