The device will pit the company in direct competition with the Apple iPad line up. The tablet market is sure to light up with the entry of one more formidable player in the tablet market.

All the big players in the Field like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Google are racing to launch their products before the festive season so as to extract the maximum from the festive sentiments of the public. Each of the players is doing their best to woo the consumers. All are assertively building out their software and content partnership for movies, books, TV shows and music to offer the consumers the best to win their favor.

Amazon has been quite successful in its ventures into the smaller tablet market with the launch of its 7 inch Kindle Fire. Kindle Fire was again launched after a facelift with an HD screen for $199. It also launched an 8.9-inch, WiFi only version of the Kindle Fire for $299.
