DelusionalRants - The usual mandatory update -

I just realized that two weeks from tomorrow, I'm gonna be OLD, crap! Oh well, still not growing up, so whatever.

Went to Batman live. It rocked so much. Replaced Cirque as my #1 live show. Now they just need to do a Superman version *nod*

Doing HD backups as we're getting ready to do a family favorite - the upgrade / hand me down cycle! Brian gets a new laptop able to keep up with his work demands, I get his current one as a hand me down but what do I care that it's "old" as it's newer than mine! And this time around -- well mom's computer died and she only has her iPad, sooooo she gets mine (Merry Christmas to her) but with a new HD as this one is surely due to die (it already had a new logic board so she should be set).

Got my new Kindle Paperwhite and am already in love with it. First time I could do the hand me down in reverse too (Brian got my Kindle 2). I swore I would NOT upgrade my Kindle until it died or they came out with a color eInk Kindle (for comics), but yeah that new screen and light was too damn tempting so it was my birthday present (early but still). So awesome. Glad I caved. Went the cheap route and did with ads since they're only on the screen saver and bottom of the main screen (aka don't interrupt your book / reading time) and also got just wifi instead of 3g as my Kindle 2 was 3g and frankly I didn't need that. My library account = downloading on wifi is enabled whereas over 3g is not, that or you have to use USB on a few select books. There's just no real reason to need 3g on Kindle. If our net goes down at home, we pay for some portable hotspot thing (I forget what it is) already that is not connected to our current cable company. Sooo, yeah.

Had my second Tysabri. Still not sure I notice a difference but also just started a thyroid medicine as I was diagnosed with low thyroid (yes, I really DO have a thyroid issue per blood work). That could affect my exhaustion and energy levels, etc. Then again, the neuro said that Tysabri might not work for me and I might have to wait for the pill next year. He was kinda shocked the first one didn't affect me much. I go see him tomorrow, he wanted to see me a week after my shot.

Oh, the "fake" BigBird favorited my tweet. Supporting BigBird rocks. Brian and I are both kinda thinking it's time to send PBS some money. We got so many Muppet / Sesame Street shirts. Mitt Romney should not be going there. We love us some Sesame Street and PBS. Bringing up Big Bird at a debate was just low.
