Amazon Compares Kindle Fire HD with iPad Mini at Homepage ...

To compete with iPad mini, Amazon is initiative to compare Kindle Fire HD and iPad mini on Amazon.com. Generally, the comparison between two products is made by media and technology fans. It’s the first time for developer to do this kind of thing like Amazon.

The e-commerce giant with the tablet business sideline spruced up its home page with a big, blatant comparison of the Kindle Fire HD against the iPad Mini. There’s no mistaking the conclusion Amazon wants to leave in your mind, what with the typeface proclaiming “Much More for Much Less.”

The fact is Kindle Fire HD is better than iPad mini in many aspects. First, the pixel count, Amazon helpfully makes explicit, is 216 per inch for the Kindle Fire HD, 163 per inch for the iPad Mini. To be simple, Amazon wants to tell us that we can play HD movies and TV shows on Kindle Fire HD, and can’t do that on iPad mini. Then the price, Kindle Fire HD is priced $199 and iPad mini is $329.

Kindle Fire or iPad mini? I guess nothing can change your idea if you are a faithful Apple fan, no matter how great and cheap other products are.
