Skylanders Cloud Patrol will be made available on Kindle Fire, and playable on Kindle Fire HD which was announced yesterday for a November release.
Exclusive to the Kindle Fire version is the ability to purchase toys within the Skylanders Cloud Patrol game app itself.
Buying the physical toy in-app will unlock the digital character immediately via Amazon’s 1-Click Purchasing, while the physical toy is shipped to the user.
“We are thrilled to team up with Amazon to now bring the franchise to millions of Kindle Fire users,” said John Coyne, consumer marketing vice president at Activision.
Skylanders Cloud Patrol for Kindle Fire will be available on the Kindle Fire store on Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD and will retail for $0.99 at launch.
